The Academy


If the Reality Soccer School coaches feel that your child has the natural ability and right attitude to play football with the other children who we see excel in the local areas then we will invite them to join the academy.

The Academy will act as a steeping stone between the local club level and the professional academies giving children the chance to play with other children of a similar ability, to overcome any weaknesses in their game, to find there suited position on the pitch and to get the chance to play in front of scouts and coaches from professional and semi- professional football clubs.

Because children will be training with other advanced footballers we can concentrate on teaching the children advanced techniques and positional awareness, so that they can improve their game and play to the best of their ability without being held back.

The weekly sessions last for 90mins and will be split in to 5 parts:

• Warm up,
• Weekly topic pt 1
• Weekly topic pt 2
• Coached match
• Cool down/ debrief

As an Academy Player you will be asked to Represent Reality Soccer Schools in friendly matches against local football clubs.

Please note that the Academy is strictly invite only (please do not approach the coaches about placements) and children will only be invited to join if the coaches feel that they are ready and can play with all the basics that are taught on the evening/ weekend soccer schools.

The Academy Opens 2008
